Pollyanna has recently accepted the role of UK ambassador to support a remarkable wild cheetah rescue and relocation programme based in South Africa. A few months ago, Pollyanna had the opportunity to visit the De Wildt Cheetah Foundation, a remarkable facility which conducts long term conservation research and education programs relating to the wild cheetah to ensure its long term survival. The Centre’s work has resulted in the major achievement of helping to conserve what was once a threatened species.

This appealing painting of a mother cheetah with two young cubs was completed following Pollyanna's visit to the De Wildt cheetah sanctuary where she was able to sit and sketch the youngest cubs.

The Eye of the Tiger is the beautifully illustrated story of two expeditions to India recounting Pollyanna's unique experiences – working with project tiger rangers; being given an orphan sloth bear as a birthday gift; facing a charging tiger and living to tell the tale. At the heart of this absorbing travel journal is the majestic tiger and the heroic efforts of all those who strive to ensure its survival in the wild.
